An alumnus from Puyallup Washington Butler was interested in performing arts as she grew in her teens. The choir she sang in was entered into performances in singing contests, and was a part of high school and community theatre. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles and studied theatre at the University of Southern California. for a year and a half, she was Belle the princess in Beauty and the Beast. After dropping out of school and starting to search for a talent agency, and auditioning to work in film and television. Butler was a guest on the TV show CSI: Miami. The actress was a guest on in the year-long web series Luke 11 17 which was directed by Don Stark. Butler had a role in the web series I Love Vampires and a frequent appearance on Luke 11:17. She won the title for I Spit on Your Grave which is a remake of the 1978 film that had the same title.
