Paul Wesley is a multi-award winning actor, producer, and director. Most well-known for his role as Paul on the TV show The Vampire Diaries. For his role in the show, he's received numerous nominations and awards including those of the Teen Choice Awards as well as the Young Hollywood Awards. Wesley was raised within New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his college years, he demonstrated an interest for acting. In the future He enrolled at Rutgers University. He dropped out after realizing how much he was capable of as an actor. The popular American TV soap Another World was his first TV performance. The next role on TV was on his role on the CBS program Wolf Lake. In the hit American TV series The Vampire Diaries he played the role of Stefan Salvatore. The series has seen him direct a few episodes. Since his debut as a director in The Last Run in 1999 the actor has been featured in several other popular movies. Recently, he starred on Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as well as the roles of a supporting actor. Additionally, he's well-known via social media. There are more than thirteen million Instagram followers, and 4.1 millions Twitter followers.
